It’s October, so the entire month is basically dedicated to all things Autumn & Halloween.
The nights are getting darker and the temperature is dropping – fast.
So what better way to spend your evenings than snuggled up with the family watching films. With a bowl of sweets and popcorn of course.
So here are our top five halloween films that we watch to get in the halloween spirit.
I feel like this is so obvious. When you think of a family halloween film this is normally at the top of most peoples list. We watched it the other day and a lot of the jokes went over the kids heads but they still really enjoyed it. Plus the show at Magic Kingdom is based on this film so brought back lots of happy holiday memories.
Sometimes we put the kids films on and they watch while we carry on with bits on the computers. However this film caught my attention and i sat and watched the whole thing and loved it. And the kids have asked to watch it so many times now.
Curious George A Halloween Boo Fest
This is just one of the cosiest films ever. Getting lost in Georges world is one of the best things in the world. The kids find it hilarious and i love the innocents of it all.
Dog that talk and go on adventures what more can you ask from a film? The only problem with this is the kids want our dogs to be just as cool as the buddies and the dogs just don’t comply lol
The Nightmare Before Christmas
I have a confession for this one. Last year disney released the Tsum Tsum collection and we had never seen the film. So to justify buying the Tsum Tsum (as I had to have them all) I made the kids watch this film. And I’m not going to lie the beginning of the film freaked them out. By the end though they loved it and have asked to watch again this year.
Also when we went to the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party we saw so many people dressed up as Jack and Sally and it took the scary away from them.
